Gaelic Writing Competition

Co-fharpais Sgrìobhaidh

Bho chionn ghoirid, sgrìobh AS2 Gàidhlig pìosan beaga leis an tiotal ‘Mise’ airson farpais nàiseanta CLAS (Comann Luchd-teagaisg Àrd-sgoiltean).  Bidh CLAS a’ brosnachadh sgrìobhadh am-measg dheugairean gach bliadhna leis an fharpais seo.  Bhuannaich Carlie NicThòmais an dàrna duais agus fhuair i teisteanas agus eàrlas luach £30. Fhuair na sgoilearan seo uile teisteanas airson an obair mhath a rinn iad:

Ciaran Skinner, Beathag Nic a’ Mhuilleir, Seasag Ghòrdan, Eilidh NicRath, Mìcheal Brindle, Uilleam MacThòmais, Ruby Fhriseal, Julia NicAonghais agus Else Strong.

Writing Competition

S2 Gaelic learners recently produced pieces of writing entitled ‘Myself’ for the CLAS competition.  CLAS is the professional association of Gaelic secondary school teachers and it runs this annual national competition to promote writing among secondary pupils.  Carlie Thomas came in second place and was given a certificate and a £30 gift voucher.  The following pupils also received a certificate for their entries:

Ciaran Skinner, Bethany Miller, Jessica Gordon, Eilidh MacRae, Michael Brindle, William Thomas, Ruby Fraser, Julia Innes and Else Strong.
