Thursday the 27th of June, we held a bake sale in support of Proud Ness. It was hot and sunny but we fought on through the blistering heat to sell cakes, sweets, raffle tickets and treasures alike all in an effort to raise money. It was a joyous experience for all involved.
The event was a success with a grand total of £129.83! All thanks to the staff and pupils who bought and those who baked, alongside special thanks to Lidl’s, Farmfoods, Poundland, WHSmith, Starbucks, Hotel Chocolat, Tesco’s and Harry Gows who all donated supplies, prizes and cakes!
Even more thanks to Gillian Clark (Skills Development Scotland) and Mr Derek Sim (Art & Design Teacher) who helped organise and prepare for the event! Without them, it wouldn’t have been such a success!
