Our Travel and Tourism students will be taking over the running of the National Trust Visitor Centre at Culloden Battlefield on Saturday 4 March. This is an ambitious aspect of their course requirement and the students have more than risen to the challenge. Coordinated by Miss Bain, PT History and other Social Subjects staff, the students will be running a Treasure Hunt, putting on a Fashion Show, hosting a Lunchtime Quiz, and putting on a 19th Century Food Demonstration. It promises to be a fantastic day out for young people and their families as well as a first class tourism experience for the class.
This morning, the whole class met Gino and Grace from the MFR Breakfast show to generate some publicity for the take-over day.
The piece they have recorded will be broadcast by Gino on MFR between 8:20am and 8:30am tomorrow, Friday 3 March. Please listen in and support the young people at Culloden Battlefield on Saturday.
