Charleston picked up an excellent win on Thursday against Inverness High School. In horrendous playing conditions, Charleston played some terrific passing football and controlled the game from start to finish. Goals from Danny Kelly, William Robertson, Jake Fraser Lee and Robbie Brindle raced Charleston into 4-1 lead at half time. Substitute Jack Gall and David Robertson then capped a terrific team performance by adding another two goals in the second half to give Charleston the comprehensive victory they deserved.

A fantastic Logan Dunsmore hat-trick ensured Charleston came away with a point in a recent game vs Dingwall Academy. Both teams played excellent football going forward and Logan Dunsmore, Owen McGhie and Ethan Brown linked up well for Charleston offensively, causing the Dingwall defence problems all game. Assured performances from Harry Cumming, Tyler Brownsword, Ross Gunn in defence aswell as some terrific saves from goalkeeper Aiden Reid kept Charleston in the game at times but in the end, Charleston were more than worthy of picking up a well earned point.

Charleston Academy 2 – 6 Inverness Royal Academy

Goal Scorers: Jamie Forsyth & Aiden MacKinnon

Man of the Match: Logan Dunsmore

Charleston were unfortunately unable to maintain the momentum from the recent Dingwall Academy performance and came unstuck against a very impressive Inverness Royal Academy side. Charleston were very slow out the blocks and were 4-1 down at half time. A spirited performance in the second half and better application meant Charleston made a game of the second half but they were still unfortunately not able to get back into the game, eventually running out 6-2 losers.
