£1250 raised for Comic Relief 2015

Hard work by staff and pupils, great fun by everyone, and fun-filled teamwork made for a great atmosphere in school all day.

Teacher Make-Overs, Bake Sales, Head Shaving, Dressing-Up and a brilliant Staff V Pupils Tug-O-War saw the £1s and pennies roll in. £1250 was raised by the end of lunchtime for Comic Relief. A hugely successful day for everyone. Contributions by pupils and staff made today a tremendous example of what Charleston Academy is all about.

Well done to senior pupils for the hard work and great ideas and to Ms Carmichael and Miss Massey for ensuring the whole day ran smoothly and was well coordinated. Special thanks to Robert Thorne (2S) for being MC on stage all of lunchtime.

On B Floor, staff from English, Geography and History dressed as Prefects for the day.
