Hamper Thanks

During the last week of term pupils and staff distributed the many hampers that each Tutor / Register group had collected. These were distributed to members of our community who took delight in receiving them. We take advice from local community members, the salvation army, and social services about where to distribute the fifty or so hampers we fill. It’s always nice to return in the New Year to so many thank-you cards and letters of acknowledgement and appreciation from members of our community who received them.

Mr Todd from Overton Avenue wrote,

“Would you please convey my sincere and heartfelt thanks to your pupils who sent me a very welcome Christmas box. It was a very unexpected and pleasant surprise and was much appreciated. Unfortunately, I have been unwell for the last few weeks and when your pupils delivered the box I was unable to thank them in person. It’s nice to think that, in this day and age, there is still a caring and giving side to the young people within our community. I am very grateful to have experienced this first hand”
