Throughout National Poetry Week our English Department ran a poetry competition on the theme of Remembrance. Bards in the Bog because the Eastage Centre agreed to publish the winning entries and display them in the Eastgate Centre toilets where customers might contemplate them during a visit to the ‘bog’. The theme of remembrance also recognises our visit to the World War 1 Battlefields in Belgium and France during the October Holidays.
The winning entrants were presented with their prizes by Becky Davies from the Eastgate Centre.
