Charleston Academy 3-4 Culloden Academy

Jack Hosie S6

Ally Stark S4

Ronan Cousins S6

Charleston were narrowly edged out by 1 goal in a 7 goal thriller by a very strong Culloden side. Charleston once again started sloppy, and found themselves 2 goals down in the opening three minutes. However, as the side have shown on numerous occasions before, they showed good character and fought back into the match and pulled a goal back with a Jack Hosie close range finish. Charleston then went onto equalise through an Ally Stark half volley following a knock down from centre back Danny Kelly. Charleston then completed the turn around 5 minutes before half time with a well taken volley from Ronan Cousins to ensure Charleston went in at half time with a 3-2 lead. Culloden then started the second half well and Charleston weathered wave after wave of pressure, before eventually conceding to level the game at 3-3. Chances then came and went for both sides before Culloden scored a crucial winning goal 2 minutes from time, which left Charleston with little time to force an equaliser.
