Pupils taking the ASDAN Qualification took part in a fantastic adventure at the end of term. They headed to Glenfeshie with Mr Smith and Mrs Bernery (Support for Learning) to take part in a canoeing and kayaking descent of the River Spey. Along the way they camped out overnight for the duration of the four day visit, learning essential bushcraft, camp fire skills and loch and river canoeing.

The aim of the trip is to build communication skills, improve self-awareness and learn more about the local environment. The trip was organised in partnership with Wild Things, a Findhorn based charity.

Luckily the weather was kind and everyone had a fantastic time.

Mr Richard Smith and Mrs Sandrine Bernery, Support for Learning Department
