Special Congratulations to Robert Thorne. Following his success in the competition Robert has been invited and will take part in the UKMT Summer School which takes place at St Anne’s College at the University of Oxford. The Summer School is a week long residential placement for young people with an interest in Maths. They aim to promote mathematical thinking and provide an opportunity for participants to meet other students and adults who enjoy mathematics. There are only 48 places on the UKMT Summer School and no one from Charleston Academy has ever been invited onto the programme before. Well done Robert.
