The first round of the Inverness Rotary Club Master Chef competition was held in the Albert Roux Kitchen last week.
Four contestants were competing for a place in the second round but in the end there were two pupils that couldn’t be separated in terms of points. Both Cedes Wittke and Niamh Clark are successfully through to compete again in a fortnights time.
Congratulations to Cedes and Niamh, commiserations to Sophie Forbes and Robert Thorne. All contestants produced excellent food and should be proud of their achievements, well done!
The professional chef judges for this round were George Mackay from The Dairy at Daviot, and Jamie Maclennan from Kinkell House Hotel. Our thanks to them for giving up their valuable time, and for their help and valuable feedback on the day.
