American Football Flag Tournament

On Monday this week, some of our S1 and S2 pupils took part in an American Football Flag Tournament at Bught Park. The tournament is used as a development activity to bring through younger pupils and inspire them to hopefully play in the full contact version of the event when they are older.

Charleston Academy pupils did really well and gave their all, ending the day with two wins, two draws and one defeat.

The team have been coached by Fergus McIntyre and Rhys Smith over the past 5 weeks. The boys have done a terrific job, and it was clear to see how good a team ethic there was around the squad. Well done everyone.
