Burns Lunch

Written by Charleston Academy on . Posted in Wider Curriculum

In celebration and acknowledgement of Burns Night this weekend our canteen served traditional Haggis, Neeps and Tatties to pupils and staff on Friday. One of our Pipers Euan Morrison piped in the Haggis carried by Head Boy James Hogan. Head Girl Freya Boa cut the Haggis before handing it over to Sharon, one of our canteen ladies.

During our Burns Night, Right Enough Radio broadcast live from the Hall with music by Scottish bands before everyone was treated to a performance by our Pipers accompanied by pupils on the African Drums.
