Copper Collection for Botswana

Written by Charleston Academy on . Posted in Achievements, Important Announcements

2M5 Maths class were interested in helping raise money for our partner school in Botswana, so we organised a ‘Copper Collection’.  The class planned the collection by asking for permission and advertising with posters and in the daily notices.

On the actual collection days, we worked very well as a  team, and we had fun at the same time.  We all had jobs to do and classes to visit.

We are going to keep the copper mountain outside Mr O’Neill’s office until the end of term and have a competition with a prize to raise more money.  So keep bringing your copper coins please.

The total amount raised on the day was £146.01.
