Last week Charleston Academy runners travelled to Gordonstoun School in Moray to compete in the annual North of Scotland Cross Country Championships.

We had 32 runners competing on the day from S1- S6. It was an excellent day with perfect running conditions. Well done to all Charleston Academy runners who all gave 100% effort.  Our Group D Girls did particularly well. Erica Flower (1T1), Jade Wilson (1T1), Ciara Latham (1K2), Bethany Chisholm (1K2), Abigail Adamiec (1T2) and Caragh Gallacher (1S) who won first place in the team event, finishing with an outstanding 37 points.

Another shout out to our senior boys Group B who finished third in the team event, well done boys, great running.  Overall a super effort from Charleston Academy runners.
