Work Placement at Loch Ness Country House Hotel

This term pupils from the S4 Rural Skills class have been working in the grounds of the Loch Ness Country House Hotel.This is the fourth year of a very successful partnership with the hotel. The pupils work in the hotel gardens under the supervision of the gardener, Mr Roy Goddard.

On a Thursday afternoon this term the pupils have completed a range of outdoor practical tasks working towards achieving their “Soft Landscaping” Unit. This involves planting flowers and vegetables, watering, weeding and pruning. The pupils will continue with this work placement after the summer holidays in August.
