Charleston under 13 football team travelled to Kingussie yesterday (Tuesday 23rd April) to play their first match in the Highland Schools Cup.

A strong start from Charleston allowed them to take an early lead, however Kingussie played some excellent football and were always in for a chance of taking a lead.

Going into the second half Charleston were leading 3-2 and managed to extend their lead with an early goal from Josh MacDonald. The second half continued the same as the first with both teams showing some fantastic football and any of them being able to secure a win at the end. On this occasion Charleston managed to win the match 7-5.

Charleston now take on Invergordon in the next round.
